Checkpoint Omega

This SF race-and-combat game, yet another permutation on the 'Death Race' theme, is set on a post apocalyptic Earth whose World Government has set up violent New Olympics to entertain the survivors. The game concerns one event, the Open Terrain Vehicle Race between heavily armed teams the winner is the first (or only) team to get one of their vehicles or racers to all sixteen checkpoints and back to Checkpoint Omega.This is Task Force Game #1026, one of their series of microgames. - BoardGameGeek
