Using an innovative initiative and activation system the game unfolds across the fields of southern Pennsylvania. Units are regiments and individual artillery batteries. Each strength point represents about 50 men. Scale is 125 yards to the hex. Counters are full color done by Rodger MacGowan. 1680 counters in the first edition.
